The sponsorship is the most secure and reliable way to finance an SOS Children’s Village. Thanks to the sponsorship, fixed monthly contributions are given to SOS Children’s Villages.

Sponsorship means responsibility from both sides: SOS Children's Village and sponsor. The SOS Children's Village receives the sponsor, allows him or her to visit the SOS Village, provides him with recent information about the sponsored child or facility and allows the sponsored child to visit the sponsor if the sponsor accepts.

At the same time the sponsor commits himself to pay monthly amount of money.
There two kinds of local sponsorship: child sponsorship and facility (SOS Village) sponsorship.   By sponsoring a child, you participate in the education and insertion of this child in social life. You can sponsor one or several children. You’ll get regular news about this or these children.

Children sponsors accept to give 5,000 FCFA to the SOS Children's Village for each child. By sponsoring an SOS Children's Village, you participate in the daily life of this SOS village. An SOS Children’s Village SOS means generally 10 or 12 family houses, a mother and 6 to 10 children in each of these houses. A Village sponsor accepts to pay 8000 CFA Francs every month. You’ll receive by mail, regular news of this village you sponsor and you will have the possibility to visit it.
