In each SOS Children’s village in Benin (Abomey Calavi, Dassa-Zoumé and Natitingou), there is a kindergarten, not only for SOS children but also for children from the local communities. The SOS kindergarten obeys quality standards and teaches computer skills and English lessons adapted for little children.
There are two grades in SOS kindergartens: the 1st grade and 2nd grade. The minimum age is 3 for the 1st grade and 4 for the 2nd grade. The process of admission starts in April for the coming school year. School begins at 8am and ends at 4pm with a two hour break from 12 am to 2 pm.
SOS kindergartens have a dining hall where children can have lunch.
